Day Trip to the Island of Prickly Pear from St. Martin

Day Trip to the Island of Prickly Pear from St. Martin - Simpson Bay, St Maarten (St Martin) Star Rating

Duration: 8 hours
Location: Simpson Bay, St Maarten (St Martin)

From USD
$85.00

Any trip to St. Martin would not be complete without a day trip to the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand - 'Anguilla', and her unparalleled sister - 'Prickly Pear Cay'. Lambada's 10 year history of party boat fun, family gatherings and outstanding crew have made her a constant in the line up of #1 excursions.

Lambada 63' sail cat was the first new breed of day charter cats to arrive in St. Martin in 1996. The boats are very spacious areas with proper seating, a walk up bar and two toilets. There are two nets up front which guests prize as prime positions to sunbathe while sailing, and an angled ladder that is lowered in the front for effortless access and exit into the water when snorkeling.

Lambada provides the means to enjoy what both islands have to offer - food, drink, snorkeling and incredible white sandy beaches. This is the trip often asked for by boat name and not destination. The heady combination of sailing, rum punches and fun loving crew members, ensure a day committed to memory and the scrapbooks. We enjoy a tremendous amount of return guests who name the boat and crew as their number one vacation trip.

This little Cay is pure paradise, lying a short distance off the coast of Anguilla. Completely deserted excepting for the two little restaurants that provide lunch to visitors, nobody lives on Prickly Pear and restaurant staff travel over each day to be of service. This destination is all about relaxation as palm trees bask in the sun and sugar birds dart through the restaurant. Simply gorgeous, Prickly Pear is a great choice for families with kids as the boat anchors for the day in one spot with a nice long beach and shallow waters. Lunch is also a choice of BBQ chicken, fish or ribs and the day is spent languidly snorkeling, swimming or sunbathing. ... More info ›

Anguilla Day Trip from St. Martin - Simpson Bay, St Maarten (St Martin) Star Rating

Duration: 8 hours
Location: Simpson Bay, St Maarten (St Martin)

From USD
$85.00

No trip to St. Martin is complete without a day trip to the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand - Anguilla. You'll cruise to the island by catamaran, go snorkeling off Sandy Island and spend a relaxing afternoon on Anguilla's Road Bay Beach.

Departing from Pelican Marina aboard the catamaran Lambada, you'll sail up the west coast of St. Martin to Plum Point, then across the channel to Anguilla. Cruising along Anguilla's coast, you'll visit Sandy Island for perfect snorkeling. If you're not a swimmer, take a walk along the beach and paddle in the clear, shallow waters lapping the shore. If the snorkeling is better at Little Bay on the day, you'll stop at this protected marine reserve surrounded by sheer cliffs dotted with caves.

At lunchtime, it's time to cruise over to Road Bay for lunch at Roy's Bayside Grill. There's a buffet choice of BBQ chicken, fish or ribs for hungry sailors, followed by free time to enjoy beachcombing, swimming or relaxing in the sun.

The long stretch of Road Bay Beach is lined with little beachside bars and guesthouses, and like all the beaches on Anguilla the sand is white and the waters are a breathtaking turquoise blue.

Lambada's 10-year history of party boat fun, family gatherings and outstanding crew have made her a constant in the line-up of top excursions. The boats are very spacious, with a walk-up bar and two toilets.

Lambada offers a great day out, with food, drink, snorkeling and incredibly white sandy beaches. The heady combination of sailing, rum punches and fun-loving crew members ensures a Caribbean day trip you'll never forget. ... More info ›
